Day 01. Arrive Mumbai

Arrival at Mumbai airport, you shall be picked up by Buddha Vacations’ representative holding the placard on your name. Meet assist and later you shall be transferred to booked hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 02. Trip to Elephanta Caves & Mumbai city tour

Morning breakfast at hotel and proceed to visit Elephanta caves by boat cruise (situated on Elephanta Island), later visit Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and Marine Drive. Evening transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 03. Mumbai to Ahmedabad (by flight)

Post breakfast check out from hotel and you shall be transferred to Mumbai airport to catch the flight to Ahmedabad. Arrival at Ahmedabad airport and transfer to hotel. Later proceed to visit Sabarmati Ashram also known as Gandhi Ashram. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 04. Ahmedabad

Today after breakfast proceed to visit Ahmedabad city, visit Calico Museum of textiles, Sarkhej mausoleum complex and Vishala Village complex. Evening transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 05. Ahmedabad to Jambughoda (190kms/3-4hrs)

Morning breakfast in hotel check out and drive to Jambughoda. Upon reaching Jambughoda transfer to hotel. Afternoon go to Safari in Jambughoda wildlife sanctuary (former hunting village of Prince of Jambughoda). One can sight Leopard, Jackal Sloth bear etc. Evening transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 06. Excursion to Chotta Udaipur

Post breakfast proceed to go for an excursion trip to Chotta Udaipur to visit surrounding tribal villages and to experience the traditional lifestyle of locals. Later drive back to Jambughoda and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 07. Jambughoda to Uthelia (170kms/3-4hrs) En-route Champaner

Morning breakfast in hotel check out and drive to Uthelia. En-route visit Champaner –“The Chronological City of Gujarat’. Champaner is an historical city of Gujarat and it’s an UNESCO world heritage site and having several architectural monuments. Visit Champaner fort, Kalika temple and Jama Masjid. Evening reach Uthelia and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 08. Uthelia to Bhavnagar

Today post breakfast check out and drive to Lothal and visit the archaeological remains of Harappan civilization. Later drive to Bhavnagar and transfer to hotel. Evening visit Barton museum and local bazars. Overnight stay.

Day 09. Excursion to Palitana (60kms/2hrs each side)

Post breakfast proceed for an excursion trip to Palitana. Palitana is an important place for the followers of Jain religion. Located on Mount Shatrujaya, Palitana is famous for ancient 863 marble cut temples which were carved during 11th to 12th Century. Evening drive back to Bhavnagar and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 10. Bhavnagar to Gondal (170kms/ 3-4hrs)

Morning breakfast at hotel check out and drive to Gondal. Upon reaching Gondal transfer to hotel. Later visit Naulakha Palace, Gondal Royal family Vintage car collection. Evening transfer back to hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 11. Gondal to Wankaner (100kms/2hrs) En-route Rajkot

After breakfast check out and drive to Wankaner (formerly princely states of India). En-route visit Watson Museum, Rashtriya Shala (to see the weaving clothes).
Upon reaching Wankaner transfer to hotel. Later visit Wankaner Palace Musuem and also visit nearby local village to experience the rural lifestyle. Evening transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 12. Wankaner to Ahmedabad (210kms/4hrs) to Mumbai (By flight) Departure

Morning breakfast at hotel check out and drive back to Ahmedabad and you shall be dropped at Ahmedabad airport to catch the flight to Mumbai. Upon reaching Mumbai catch the flight to your onward destination.
